THE TONE SCALE COURSE
"Could use a few of these points around the office. "I genuinely think I'll be taking a few of these pointers forward—very laid back and easy course to listen to. After the first two videos or so, I just started completing the course exercises! "There are a few more things after this that I would take into consideration both sides of the interview table. I'm a certified interviewer for Uber, so next time I conduct one, I'd be looking for the chronic tone points more closely. If I'm an interviewee ever again, I think I'd be taking mental notes to answer more personally than from past work experiences. "The Tone Scale made sense me. I've been swinging up and down from boredom for the past couple of months if I'm totally honest. I get bursts of enthusiasm now and then, but it doesn't last. I know one of the points mentioned that people can have a stable tone they stick to and can move up and down frequently but always seem to migrate back to a "core" tone if you could call it that. I'm aware of it now, though, so I feel like that in itself might spark a change. "I hate giving a totally positive review, but honestly, it was pretty good all in all. I guess the acting was a touch cheesy if I had to nitpick, but I thought it was mostly very engaging, didn't feel like I was getting distracted or bored, the narrator was the perfect mix.
